League of Legends players were treated to a sneak peek of the upcoming champion thanks to leaked Briar splash art. The artwork showcases a young girl with striking white hair and pink gradient tips, dressed in a black outfit and sporting eerie all-white eyes and sharp teeth. Fans are already captivated by her appearance.
The leaked information also reveals that Briar will be a jungler, with her debut on the Public Beta Environment (PBE) scheduled for August 29. Her official release on the LoL client is expected on either September 13 or 14. These dates are based on details provided by the leak.
It’s important to note that this is a leak and the final look of the champion may differ. Briar has yet to be tested on PBE servers and could undergo further changes.
Introduced in the League of Legends Champion Roadmap developer blog in April, Briar’s concept revolves around an uncontrollable hunger. Lead Champion Designer Alexia “Lexical” Gao explained that the champion explores what happens when this insatiable hunger takes over, allowing her to feast on those deserving of it. Riot Lexical also hinted at Briar’s ties to Noxus and her insatiable appetite.
Briar will be the third champion to be released this year, following Milio and Naafiri.
