T1 Keria, the support player for T1, recently expressed his disappointment with the limited champion choices available for his upcoming Worlds 2023 skin. In a livestream on his Twitch channel, he shared his frustration about not being able to choose Lux as his desired champion.
As a member of T1’s victorious roster at Worlds 2023, Keria is entitled to a Worlds Championship skin. However, the selection process requires players to have played their chosen champion during the tournament. Unfortunately, Keria did not play Lux in any of his games, opting for Renata Glasc, Bard, and Tahm Kench instead.
Despite not meeting the requirements, Keria passionately pleaded with the Riot skin team to make his skin a Lux skin. He even had a specific vision for the skin, including a cute recall animation featuring NewJeans, a K-pop group. He envisioned Lux practicing NewJeans’ choreography in front of a mirror, with a ponytail or twin tails.
Riot Games playfully entertained the idea of incorporating these concepts into Bard’s design, suggesting adding a ponytail to the wandering caretaker and even featuring Lux alongside him in the recall animation. However, Keria was not amused by this joke.
During the post-match press conference, Keria mentioned that he is considering Bard or Renata Glasc as alternatives for his Worlds 2023 skin. Both champions have been successful for him, with a 100% win rate on Bard and an impressive KDA of 18.3 on Renata Glasc.
Official confirmation of T1’s final champions for their Worlds 2023 skins is still pending from Riot Games.
Keria has been T1’s support since 2020 and recently renewed his contract with the organization. He is known for his innovative support picks, such as Caitlyn, Kalista, and Varus, and was the first support to win the LCK Regular Season MVP award. He also achieved a gold medal at the Asian Games 2022 alongside his teammate Faker.
