Tigreal: The Tank Hero
Tigreal, the beloved tank hero, is a great counter to Ixia. While he may not be able to defeat her in team fights, he can push her away when she uses her ultimate, Full Barrage. This gives your teammates the chance to escape the massive area of effect. Tigreal’s passive also helps to reduce some of Ixia’s basic attack damage, which she heavily relies on. To counter Ixia, build Dominance Ice first to reduce her lifesteal, and then go for physical defense items like Antique Cuirass or Blademail.
Lolita: The Shield Maiden
Lolita, another tank hero, is also effective against Ixia. Her Guardian’s Bulwark shield ability allows her to block most of Ixia’s basic attacks, including those from her ultimate. Lolita’s Charge! skill provides a single-target stun, which is impactful as Ixia lacks mobility skills. In team fights, use Charge! before Ixia can unleash Full Barrage. Hide during her ultimate and charge your Neumenon Blast ultimate. By the time Ixia’s ultimate is over, Neumonon Blast will stun her, giving your teammates a chance to counterattack.
Claude: The Agile Marksman
For a solid marksman pick against Ixia, choose Claude. His Battle Mirror Image skill allows him to easily enter and exit team fights, making it difficult for Ixia to counter him. Since all of Ixia’s skills are skill shots and her ultimate can only target enemies in front of her, Claude can go behind her with Battle Mirror Image and use Blazing Duet to burst her down without giving her a chance to fight back. If Ixia manages to catch him, Claude can activate Battle Mirror Image again to retreat to his initial position. Prioritize Demon Hunter Sword for damage, and then go for Golden Staff or Wind of Nature depending on your situation.
