Popular Dota 2 player and streamer, Artour “Arteezy” Babaev, has officially joined the livestreaming platform Kick. The 27-year-old, who is signed to North American organization Shopify Rebellion, will now be streaming on Kick in addition to Twitch.
Kick has been actively recruiting top streamers by offering attractive benefits such as high-value contracts and non-exclusive agreements. Arteezy, known for his skill in Dota 2, initially gained fame as a streamer and continues to have a strong following.
Despite his irregular streaming schedule, Arteezy remains one of the most popular Dota 2 streamers. When he goes live on Twitch, he consistently attracts an average of 15,000 viewers, with peak numbers exceeding 20,000 in the past year.
Kick’s strategy of signing high-profile streamers from various genres, including Nickmercs, xQc, and GMHikaru, demonstrates their determination to compete with the dominant streaming platform, Twitch.
Arteezy’s decision to join Kick aligns with the platform’s efforts to attract talented streamers and provide them with a promising environment to engage with their audience.
