China, a powerhouse in the world of esports, is set to make its mark in the battle for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Moonton Games has announced that China will be granted a slot for the M5 Wild Card, marking a historic milestone for the region.
This exciting news comes after the recent approval of the game’s licensing in China, building up anticipation for their debut on the global esports stage. One team from China, either Longlong Gaming, Nova Esports, Keep Best Gaming, or Mi Ya Gaming, will represent the region at the M5 Wild Card qualifiers.
The chosen team will face off against teams from various regions, including South Asia, Mongolia, Malaysia, MENA, and more. This is the first time Moonton is using a Wild Card format to grant a tournament slot, with a total of eight teams competing and two earning a spot at the M5 World Championship.
