Kamen “bubble” Kostadinov, a player for Victory Zigzag, has set a new record in CS:GO by playing the most professional maps in the game’s history. He surpassed the previous record holder, TaZ, on Aug. 23, with a total of 2389 maps played. Bubble is also close to breaking TaZ’s record for most rounds played, with just 109 rounds to go.
Bubble, a 32-year-old Bulgarian player, may not be well-known to most CS:GO fans, but he has represented teams like SKADE, 359, and Windigo in the past. He has been striving to break into the tier-one scene.
It’s worth noting that not all pro CS:GO matches are recorded on HLTV, the source of this record. Lower-tier tournaments and domestic matches in certain countries may not be included in the data. However, HLTV is considered the most reliable source for such statistics.
