Bungie is changing the way it releases content for Destiny 2 with the upcoming expansion, The Final Shape. After its release, players can look forward to three episodes, each with three acts, that will continue the story and introduce new quests, weapons, armor, rewards, and more.
The first episode will be free with any edition of The Final Shape: Echoes, while the other two will be available through the Collector’s Edition or an Annual Pass. The release cadence will include a new act every six weeks, providing a steady stream of content for players.
In The Final Shape, players will uncover the mystery of Cayde 6’s return and explore The Pale Heart of The Traveler. The expansion promises a mind-bending environment that becomes stranger the further you progress with your allies.
