Get ready to battle the forces of Hell on a new platform! Diablo 4 is making its way to Steam, allowing Steam users to join the fight in Sanctuary. Previously exclusive to Battle.net, the popular action roleplaying game will now be available on Steam starting with the release of season two, Season of Blood.
The Steam version of Diablo 4 will offer many of the same features, including full crossplay. This means you can seamlessly switch between platforms and consoles while keeping your progression intact. However, there is one catch – if you already own the game on Battle.net and want to play on Steam, you’ll need to purchase it again. While this may disappoint some players, it’s an important detail to note.
Excitingly, the Steam store already lists Diablo 4, although purchasing options are not yet available. The official launch on Steam is expected to coincide with the release of Season of Blood on October 17.
For more details on the latest Diablo 4 developer stream, there were numerous improvements and upcoming features discussed. Stay tuned for further updates!
