André Knite, the renowned cosplayer and fashion icon, has been making waves in the industry for over a decade. With their unique style and stunning cosplay creations, they continue to inspire fans around the world. In an exclusive interview with ONE Esports, Knite shares their fashion inspirations, their favorite K-pop idol, and how their fellow Tier One Entertainment talent, Shunsuke, has influenced them.
Fashion Inspirations
Knite draws inspiration from various sources, including the people around them and the media they consume. They explore different styles, makeup looks, and hair colors to keep things fresh and exciting. Anime, video games, and K-pop are some of the key influences on their fashion choices.
When it comes to K-pop, Knite is particularly drawn to the ever-changing fashion trends in the industry. They admire the 4th generation boy groups Stray Kids, Tomorrow x Together (TXT), and Ateez, who debuted in recent years.
“It’s hard to choose, but I think my favorite K-pop idol is Hyunjin from Stray Kids,” Knite reveals. “His style and skills are incredibly inspiring, and I’ve even taken inspiration from his hairstyle recently.”
Hyunjin, a member of JYP Entertainment’s Stray Kids, is known for his sleek and minimalist fashion choices, often opting for black and white pieces from luxury brands. He occasionally adds a pop of color to his outfits with vibrant accessories.
Shunsuke: A Fashion King
Knite also looks up to their fellow cosplayer and friend, Shunsuke, for fashion inspiration. They describe Shunsuke as a “fashion king” and an icon in the industry. Meeting him and seeing his dedication to his style has been a source of inspiration for Knite.
“Shunsuke puts so much effort into his style, and it’s truly inspiring. I aspire to be like him,” Knite shares.
Shunsuke, along with Knite and Hakken, recently signed with Tier One Entertainment, a Philippine gaming talent agency. The trio was warmly welcomed by Tier One, who flew them to the Philippines and hosted them on a yacht with co-founders Alodia Gosiengfiao and Tryke Gutierrez.
