In this highly anticipated game, G2 Esports had the advantage in objectives, thanks to Caps’ almost successful backdoor maneuver on Weibo Gaming’s base. However, Weibo Gaming held the lead in gold, with a 1.7k gold advantage, and secured all four dragons in the game.
The climax of this epic showdown occurred when Caps’ Orianna was caught attempting to sneak into Weibo Gaming’s base to finish off their nexus. This triggered a chase that led G2 Esports deep into enemy territory, through Weibo Gaming’s bot lane jungle.
The action started with Crisp landing a point-blank Solar Flare on Hans Sama’s Xayah, who quickly Cleansed and narrowly escaped with the help of Caps. However, Light’s Kai’Sa managed to snipe him with Void Seeker, triggering his Guardian Angel.
Thinking they had the upper hand, Weibo Gaming ventured further into the jungle, but they became divided into three groups, putting them at a significant disadvantage against G2 Esports. BrokenBlade’s Yone used Fate Sealed, stunning TheShy’s K’Sante and WeiWei’s Vi, effectively peeling off Weibo Gaming’s tanky champions.
Hans Sama’s Xayah sealed the clash with a triumphant triple kill, followed by a collective Ace from the rest of the G2 Esports members. This remarkable victory propelled G2 Esports to the same bracket as Gen.G, JD Gaming, and LNG Esports, all of whom currently hold a 2-0 standing.
