Sakura Miyawaki, a Japanese idol and member of Source Music’s Le Sserafim, is not only passionate about music but also gaming. While the rest of her group may not share the same interest, Sakura stands out as the only member who enjoys playing video games. She even has her own YouTube channel where she shares highlights of her gaming sessions.
One of Sakura’s latest obsessions is the popular game Genshin Impact. In an episode of the web variety show Fearless Kkura, produced by South Korean channel tvN, Sakura showcased her gaming prowess by taking on the most challenging domain in Genshin Impact, the Spiral Abyss. She fearlessly battled using her characters Zhongli, Yelan, Kamisato Ayaka, and the Raiden Shogun.
What impressed fans the most was Sakura’s skillful use of the Raiden Shogun during combat. She unleashed the Electro Archon’s elemental burst, Secret Art: Musou Shinsetsu, dealing a whopping 98,000 damage without any buffs from her party members. Her gaming skills left her fellow Le Sserafim member, Yunjin, in awe, proclaiming Sakura as the best gamer in the team.
Sakura played Genshin Impact on her limited-edition Samsung Galaxy Ganyu smartphone, a collaboration between the mobile company and the game. She won this smartphone in a previous episode of Fearless Kkura when she played rock-paper-scissors against Nam Doh hyeong, Tartaglia’s Korean voice actor.
During the episode, Sakura and Yunjin attempted to recreate in-game dishes Sticky Honey Roast and Sakura Mochi in real life. Coincidentally, Yunjin shares the same name as Genshin Impact’s 4-star opera singer, Yun Jin, and Sakura playfully greeted her virtual namesake.
As a fan of Genshin Impact, Sakura has expressed her love for the game’s beautiful open-world aspect. She finds it incredibly enjoyable and has had a great time playing it. Sakura is known among her fans as Kkura and has been part of various girl groups such as HKT48, AKB48, IZ*ONE, and now LE SSERAFIM. In her free time, she indulges in gaming on her gaming PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
