The Battle Begins: MPL SG Season 6

Get ready for the most intense Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament in Singapore, as Season 6 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Singapore (MPL SG) kicks off. This season is set to be a thrilling battle, with each team strategizing and making adjustments to claim the championship and represent Singapore at the prestigious M5 World Championship in December.

RSG SG Aims for Fourth Title

The three-time champions, RSG SG, are determined to continue their winning streak by adding fresh talent to their roster. With their eyes set on another championship, they are ready to face any challenge that comes their way.

Bleed Esports’ New Lineup

Rivals Bleed Esports have made significant changes to their lineup by adding Filipino imports Jeff “S4gitnu” Subang and Kiel VJ “Kielvj” Hernandez. With these new additions, they are aiming to strengthen their team and give tough competition to their opponents.

New Challengers: Vanguard Esports and Alchemy SG

Vanguard Esports and Alchemy SG have earned their spots in the tournament through the open qualifiers. These new challengers are eager to make their mark in the league and prove themselves against the established teams.

MPL SG Season 6: The Format

MPL SG Season 6 consists of three phases: the open qualifier, the regular season, and the playoffs. Eight teams will battle it out on the Land of Dawn, with two teams earning their slots through the qualifiers. The ultimate goal for all teams is to secure a lion’s share of the S$100,000 prize pool.

The regular season will span four weeks, featuring games played in a best-of-three, single round-robin format. Teams will earn points based on their performance, with a sweep granting three points and a 2-1 victory granting two points to the winning team and one point to the losing team.

The top four teams will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the bottom four will be seeded into the lower bracket. The playoffs will follow a double-elimination structure, with all matches leading up to the final being best-of-three. The upper and lower bracket finals will be best-of-five, and the grand final will culminate in a thrilling best-of-seven showdown.
