Dota 2’s latest patch, 7.34c, brings some major changes to two powerful heroes: Nature’s Prophet and Gyrocopter. These heroes have been dominating the meta and excelling in their respective roles, but now they face significant nerfs to level the playing field.
Nature’s Prophet has taken a hit to his base agility, reducing his durability and attack speed during the laning stage. This change weakens one of the hero’s most oppressive aspects and makes him more vulnerable to physical damage. On the bright side, Sprout now provides healing when consumed with a Tango, which helps support heroes who are short on item slots.
Gyrocopter, on the other hand, sees a decrease in his agility gain and several nerfs to his Flak Cannon ability. The cooldown for Flak Cannon has been increased, and his Flak talents have been adjusted to reduce the additional attacks and damage. These changes will slow down Gyrocopter’s farming potential in the early and mid-game, as well as reduce his late-game damage output.
Other notable heroes receiving nerfs in this patch include Invoker, Vengeful Spirit, Earth Spirit, and Dawnbreaker, all of whom have been dominating both professional and pub matches recently.
