Riot Games is set to shake up the League of Legends music scene with a hot new boyband skinline. The official Riot Games Music account teased fans with a tweet hinting at their upcoming project. The image shared shows a music producer hard at work, surrounded by musical equipment and a gold record in the background. The producer’s notebook reveals sketches of five male characters with the words “…wanna be a star, Rockstar” written on a post-it note.
League of Legends fans have been quick to analyze the sketches and identify the champions they represent. Skin Spotlights confirmed that the characters depicted are Kayn, Yone, Ezreal, K’Sante, and Sett. Additionally, it was revealed that Kayn and Yone will also receive skins in Wild Rift, with Kayn’s being a Legendary skin and Yone’s having a Prestige Edition.
The highly anticipated boyband skinline is expected to debut during Worlds 2023, which is scheduled to take place from October 10 to November 19. Fans can look forward to the possibility of the boyband members performing new pop music from Riot Games, similar to previous digital groups like True Damage and K/DA who have performed at past World Championships.
True Damage, a virtual hip-hop group, featured Ekko, Senna, and Qiyana, while K/DA showcased Akali, Evelynn, Kai’Sa, Ahri, and Yasuo. These virtual groups have brought a unique and exciting element to the Worlds events, and the new boyband skinline is expected to follow suit.
