The highly anticipated season 2 of the One Piece live action series has been officially confirmed by creator Eiichiro Oda. In an exciting video shared on Netflix’s social media channels, Oda announced that Netflix has decided to renew the show.
Oda, using a Den Den Mushi snail phone prop specially crafted by the Netflix team and given to him by lead actor Inaki Godoy, expressed his gratitude and requested patience from fans as they work on writing scripts for the new season.
It’s worth noting that Mary Adelstein, CEO of Tomorrow Studios, had previously confirmed the completion of scripts for season 2 in an interview with Variety.
One Piece live action season 2 will feature the beloved character Chopper, as confirmed by Oda himself. He even provided a simple line art representation of the character.
