An exciting collaboration is on the horizon as the popular manga and anime series Demon Slayer is set to release its own Nintendo Switch game with a Mario Party twist. Published by Aniplex Japan, the game is scheduled to launch in 2024 in Japan, much to the delight of fans.
The upcoming Demon Slayer game has already generated a buzz among enthusiasts, offering a unique spin on Nintendo’s beloved party game. Players will be immersed in a dynamic day-night cycle, experiencing lively mini-games and competitions during the day, and engaging in intense battles against menacing demons from the Demon Slayer series at night.
How Does the Demon Slayer Mario Party Game Work?

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mezase! Saikyou Taishi! is a thrilling four-player party game where you and your friends can partake in various mini-games. The game offers a wide selection of characters, including the series’ main protagonists such as Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira, along with the powerful Hashira from the Demon Slayer Corp.
Similar to the mechanics of Mario Party, players will roll dice to navigate across the Demon Slayer board’s tiles, encountering a variety of challenges along the way. These challenges include engaging in mini-games like whack-a-mole, guessing which box Nezuko is hiding in, and a game reminiscent of Temple Run.

As night falls in Demon Slayer Mezase! Saikyou Tashi!, the game’s atmosphere shifts, plunging players into missions that mirror the intense demon-hunting action depicted in the anime.
