After a year-long break, coach Kim “kkOma” Jeong-gyun is making a comeback with T1 for the upcoming League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) 2024 season. This news has sparked excitement among fans as kkOma is known for his successful coaching career.
T1 has also made changes to their coaching staff, with Im “Tom” Jae-hyeon transitioning from interim head coach to coach, working alongside kkOma.
KkOma’s return to T1 is significant due to his long history with the organization. He started as a player in 2011 but truly showcased his talents when he transitioned to coaching. From 2012 to 2017, he played a crucial role in T1’s three World Championships in 2013, 2015, and 2016.
KkOma’s coaching abilities extend beyond T1, as he led Team Korea to a gold medal in the League of Legends category at the Asian Games 2022.
