Talon Esports and its Dota 2 roster have decided to go their separate ways following The International 2023. While the players and the organization are expected to remain in the competitive Dota 2 scene, they have mutually agreed to explore other opportunities.
The Hong Kong-based esports organization has been a consistent force in Southeast Asian Dota, making a name for themselves since their debut in 2021. This season, Talon established themselves as the top team in SEA, achieving impressive top-three finishes in international tournaments like Riyadh Masters 2023 and the Lima Major.
Despite entering TI12 with high hopes and securing a victory against eventual finalists Gaimin Gladiators, Talon faced consecutive losses to Team Liquid and BetBoom Team, ultimately finishing joint-ninth in the tournament.
Talon’s Dota 2 Roster for TI12:
– Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon
– Rafli “Mikoto” Rahman
– Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong
– Worawit “Q” Mekchai
– Chan “Oli” Chon Kien
– Lee “SunBhie” Jeong-jae (coach)
Talon Esports expresses gratitude for the support and encourages fans to stay tuned for updates as they embark on a new era.
