Facilitatur, the notorious top-ranked player in Apex Legends, has once again been banned following accusations of cheating. This comes shortly after a public outcry from streamers, pros, and other players who believed Facilitatur was using wall-hacks to gain an unfair advantage. The ban was caught live on stream, with an opponent witnessing Facilitatur’s sudden transformation into a death box after being eliminated. The kill feed also displayed the season 18 notification for cheating-related removals.
Apex Legends Status confirmed the ban, as Facilitatur’s accounts disappeared from the ranked leaderboards and his account badge was downgraded from Predator to Master. It is worth noting that when a Predator player is banned, they are automatically demoted to the Master rank. This ban holds more significance this season due to changes in the ranked system, making the race for the top spot in Predator highly competitive.
With Facilitatur out of the picture, former Complexity member Daniel “Luxford” Castellano now leads the ranked leaderboards, closely followed by fellow pros Zach Mazer and Chase “Shooby” Vasquez. Apex Legends enthusiasts hope that the battle for the top spot will continue fairly and competitively until the end of season 18.
Player | Rank | LP |
