After their victory at IEM Sydney, it seems that the squad won’t be staying together as Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken is looking to return to Team Liquid. According to a report by Dust2.us, Twistzz is set to head back to North America and rejoin his previous organization.
Twistzz, who left Liquid in 2020 to compete in Europe, has had a successful run, including winning a CSGO Major and two Intel Grand Slams. Despite his recent victory at a top-tier tournament, he is eager to represent North America again, although there have been talks with French organization Team Vitality as well.
In the grand final of IEM Sydney, FaZe defeated Complexity 2-1 in an intense match. This win further solidified Twistzz’s decision to reunite with Team Liquid.
Team Liquid is also in the process of rebuilding their roster and has been linked to Casper “cadiaN” Moller as a potential in-game leader. Additionally, they have their sights set on Felipe “skullz” Medeiros, a rising star from Brazil currently playing for paiN.
If the rumors are true, the new Team Liquid roster for CS2 will consist of Keith “NAF” Markovic, Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis, Casper “cadiaN” Møller, Felipe “skullz” Medeiros, and Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken.
