The highly anticipated draw results for the Play-In Stage of Worlds 2023 are finally here, setting the stage for an intense League of Legends esports championship. The draw show, hosted by Laure “Bulii” Valee and Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu, revealed the matchups for teams from Asia-Pacific, Vietnam, Japan, Latin America, Brazil, and the Worlds Qualifying Series winner.
The Play-In Stage will feature two brackets, each consisting of four teams. The teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket, playing best-of-three matches.
Bracket A:
– GAM Esports will face off against LOUD.
– PSG Talon will battle Movistar R7.
Bracket B:
– The winner of the Worlds Qualifying Series will clash with Team Whales.
– CTBC Flying Oyster will fight against DetonatioN FocusMe.
The winners of the upper bracket matches in each bracket will secure automatic qualification for the Swiss Stage. In this stage, they will go head-to-head with the top-performing teams from major regions such as Korea, China, EMEA, and North America.
