The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational 2023 group stage (MPLI 2023 group stage) is underway, featuring 16 teams competing for glory and a massive US$100,000 prize pool.
Defending champions ONIC Esports have withdrawn from the tournament, opening the door for a new team to claim the MPLI crown this season.
With Indonesian teams dominating in previous seasons, the competition has intensified as teams from the Philippines and non-MPL regions are eager to secure the coveted title.
In this stage, only two teams from each of the four groups will advance to the playoffs, making the competition even more intense.

MPLI 2023 Group Stage Format
The 16 participating teams have been divided into four groups based on fan voting.
Group A: AP Bren, Blacklist International, ECHO, See You Soon
Group B: Nova Esports, Geek Fam, EVOS Legends, RRQ TheOhioBrothers
Group C: Team Falcons, Bigetron Alpha, Team Flash, Dewa United HomeBois
Group D: Rebellion Zion, RSG PH
Matches will be played in a best-of-one, single round-robin format.
The highest-ranked team from each group will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the second-ranked team will move to the lower bracket.
The two teams with the lowest rankings in their respective groups will be eliminated.
