T1 support player Ryu “Keria” Min-seok has caught the attention of his favorite K-pop group, NewJeans, as he gears up for the League of Legends World Championship.
Keria, a huge fan of ADOR’s all-girl group, is determined to make it to the Worlds 2023 finals to witness their live performance at the opening ceremony.
Excitingly, NewJeans has reacted to Keria’s victorious moment in the semifinals, where he shouted, “Here I come, NewJeans!” as T1 secured their spot in the finals by defeating JD Gaming.
On their Phoning app, NewJeans shared their thoughts on Keria’s declaration. Minji expressed her belief that he genuinely meant it, while Hyein found it amusing.
In an interview, Keria revealed his eagerness to see NewJeans perform live at the Worlds 2023 finals. He already planned to attend their concert but now has the incredible opportunity to watch them in person.
Keria also mentioned that he owns various NewJeans merchandise, including a hoodie, which he hopes to get signed when he meets the group during the Worlds 2023 finals media day.
Keria’s love for NewJeans is evident as he listens and dances to their hit singles like “OMG” and “Attention.” The group debuted in 2022 with their first song, followed by their second single, “Hype Boy.” NewJeans consists of five talented members: Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein.
Fans can look forward to NewJeans’ performance at the Worlds 2023 opening ceremony on November 19. Additionally, their collaboration track with Riot Games, “Gods,” will be available to watch on Riot Games’ YouTube and Twitch channels.
