Mastering Khufra: A Comprehensive Guide to Mobile Legends’ Desert Tyrant

Kelly Young

Khufra, the Desert Tyrant, is a formidable tank hero in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Known for his crowd control abilities, he can knock enemies airborne, slow them down, and stun them, making him an excellent initiator.

In this guide, we will provide valuable insights on how to master Khufra and effectively utilize his strengths on the battlefield.

Khufra’s Skills

Passive – Spell Curse

Khufra’s passive ability, Spell Curse, enhances his next basic attack by activating the Spell Curse left by Esmeralda. This attack gains extra range, deals magic damage based on a percentage of physical attack and the target’s max HP, slows the target, and heals Khufra based on a percentage of his max HP. Each time Khufra applies a control effect to an enemy hero, the cooldown of Spell Curse is reduced.

First Skill – Tyrant’s Revenge

Khufra pulls the bandage on his arms to launch himself in a specified direction, dealing physical damage based on a percentage of his max HP to all enemy units in his path. If he blinks to the furthest distance or encounters the first enemy hero, he will stop, dealing physical damage to nearby enemies and knocking them airborne. The launch distance and knock-up duration of Tyrant’s Revenge increase with charge time.

Second Skill – Bouncing Ball

Khufra wraps himself in bandages, transforming into a bouncing ball. This skill increases his physical and magic defense and knocks airborne any enemies attempting to use blink skills to move across him. Each time the bouncing ball hits the ground, it deals magic damage based on a percentage of Khufra’s max HP to nearby enemies and slows them.

Ultimate – Tyrant’s Rage

Khufra pulls back all enemy targets around him towards his front, dealing physical damage and slowing them. If the enemies are knocked against walls, they will receive extra physical damage and be stunned instead of slowed. By holding the skill button and sliding it to a desired position, Khufra can pull the surrounding enemies in that direction.

How to Play Khufra

To effectively play Khufra, follow these tips:

1. Use Spell Curse before launching your combo to slow down your target and maximize your damage output.
2. Charge Tyrant’s Revenge inside a bush to surprise your target during ganks.
3. Combine Tyrant’s Revenge with Flicker for extended range or changed landing positions.
4. Max out Bouncing Ball first and interrupt enemy blink or dash abilities by staying on top or slightly in front of them.
5. Slam your target into a wall with Tyrant’s Rage to stun them and deal extra damage.
6. Use Flicker to catch your target off-guard and prevent interruptions while casting Tyrant’s Rage.
7. Build defensive items based on the enemy team’s composition, such as Dominance Ice, Antique Cuirass, Athena’s Shield, or Immortality.
8. Roam around the map and create opportunities for kills or jungle invasions.
9. Safeguard and support your allies consistently throughout the game as a tank-roamer.

Recommended Battle Spell and Emblem

For the battle spell, Flicker is the best choice due to its synergy with Khufra’s skills. It allows for unexpected initiations and creates favorable situations for securing kills.

Choose the Tank emblem for additional health points, hybrid defense, and HP regeneration. Select Firmness for extra physical and magic defense, Pull Yourself Together to reduce Flicker’s cooldown, and Concussive Blast for HP-based magic damage to nearby enemies.

Recommended Build

Build defensive items based on the enemy team’s composition. Consider Dominance Ice, Antique Cuirass, or Blade Armor for physical damage-heavy teams, and Athena’s Shield or Radiant Armor for magic damage-heavy teams. Always include Immortality for increased survivability during team fights. Cursed Helmet can be a good early-to-mid game option for extra damage output.

Easy Combos to Learn

Assist your teammates during the early game by using Tyrant’s Revenge to narrow the distance and Bouncing Ball to slow down enemies. Roam around the map and create opportunities for kills or jungle invasions.

Once you have Tyrant’s Rage, use Tyrant’s Revenge to close in on your target, then slam them into a wall with your ultimate. Activate Bouncing Ball to prevent their escape.

Remember, as a tank-roamer, your primary duty is to safeguard and support your allies consistently throughout the game.
