The group stage of the MPLI 2023 will feature a round-robin format, where each team will play against every other team in their group. The matches will be best-of-one.
The top team from each group will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the second-ranked team will compete in the lower bracket. The two lowest-ranked teams in each group will be eliminated.
The playoffs will follow a double-elimination format, with all matches being best-of-three, except for the grand final, which will be a best-of-five to determine the ultimate champion.
The group stage is scheduled to take place on November 15-16, followed by the playoffs from November 17-19 at GBK Basketball Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia.
