Singapore-based esports organization, Paper Rex, is gearing up for the VCT 2024 season with the addition of Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha to their Valorant roster. Monyet, formerly of Global Esports, has reached a verbal agreement with Paper Rex to join their team.
Monyet will be filling the void left by PRX’s star duelist player, Wang “Jinggg” Jing Jie, who will not be part of the team’s Valorant roster for the upcoming season due to his National Service obligations. Jinggg is expected to be unavailable for at least one year.
Monyet, known for his exceptional performance as a primary controller main, played Astra, Omen, and Viper during his time with Global Esports. Despite his team’s early tournament exits, Monyet has proven himself to be one of the top players in the Pacific region.
