Kaja: The Suppressor
Kaja is a powerful counter to Yve due to his ability to suppress her with his ultimate, Divine Judgment. When Yve uses Real World Manipulation, quickly close the gap using Lightning Bomb and then shackle her with Divine Judgment to cancel her ultimate. Use Ring of Order and enhanced basic attacks to deal damage, and let your teammates finish her off. Consider equipping Flicker or Sprint as your battle spell to easily narrow the distance against her. If Kaja is not available, Franco is a viable alternative with his suppression in Bloody Hunt.
Kadita: The Burst Assassin
Kadita is an excellent counter to Yve because she can quickly close in on her and burst her down. When Yve starts channeling Real World Manipulation, use Ocean Oddity to cut the gap and then cast Breath of the Ocean to stop her in her tracks. Take her down using Rough Waves. Always wait for her to cast her ultimate before targeting her with your combo. If you’re looking for other mages to counter Yve, consider Pharsa or Valentina.
Natalia: The Stealth Assassin
Natalia is a big threat to squishy heroes like Yve who stay in the backline. Hide in a bush to activate Assassin Instinct and enter conceal state. Hunt her down by moving from bush to bush, using Hero Lock Mode to ensure she is your intended target. Deal massive damage and silence her with the enhanced basic attack from Assassin Instinct, and finish her off with The Hunt. Disengage using Claw Dash and Smoke Bomb. If Natalia is not available, Helcurt is a great substitute.
