Chou: The Unstoppable Fighter
Chou is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to countering Bane. With his deadly combo and reliable crowd control abilities, he can easily take down the octopus-like pirate. Initiate your attack with Jeet Kune Do, then use Shunpo to close in and deal extra damage. Knock Bane airborne with the third cast of Jeet Kune Do and finish him off with The Way of Dragon. Use Shunpo to avoid the effects of Deadly Catch and reduce its damage. Equip Flicker as your battle spell and purchase Blade of the Heptaseas and Blade of Despair for maximum effectiveness.
Pharsa: The Long-Range Mage
Pharsa’s long-range spells make her an excellent counter to Bane. Stun him with Curse of Crow and Energy Impact, then finish him off with Feathered Air Strike. In the mid to late game, rely on your teammates to control Bane while you bombard him from a safe distance. Choose Purify or Flicker as your battle spell to escape using Wings by Wings if he gets too close. Winter Truncheon can help you survive his combo when your battle spell is on cooldown. If Pharsa is not available, Vale and Selena are good alternatives.
Hayabusa: The Agile Assassin
Hayabusa’s agility allows him to quickly close in on Bane, evade his attacks, and eliminate him swiftly. Use Ninjutsu: Quad Shadow to narrow the gap, apply Shadow Marks with Ninjutsu: Phantom Shuriken and basic attacks, and finish him off with Ougi: Shadow Kill. If Bane uses Deadly Catch, retreat to a Quad Shadow and then return to attack. Use Shadow Kill to dodge his ultimate. Purchase Hunter Strike, Malefic Roar, and Blade of Despair to maximize your damage output.
