The Western Europe (WEU) region has always been a powerhouse in Dota 2, and the TI12 WEU qualifiers are no exception. With a stacked lineup of Major-qualified teams, legendary players, and rising stars, the competition is fierce. Despite having two slots available, many fan-favorite teams and players will be left disappointed as they miss out on a chance to compete in Seattle this October.
Quest Esports and Nigma Galaxy are among the favorites to come out on top in the qualifiers, with their recent performances showing great promise. OG and Entity, both having attended Majors this year and finishing in the top six, have made changes to their rosters and are determined to secure a spot at TI12. And let’s not forget about Clement “Puppey” Ivanov’s Team Secret, who aims to maintain his record as the only player to have attended every single The International event.

Format of TI12 WEU qualifiers
The teams have been seeded into a double-elimination bracket based on their DPC points and rankings in Tour 3 of the Regional League. All matches will be best-of-three. As one of the two regions with two qualifying slots, there will be no best-of-five grand final. Instead, the winners of the upper bracket and lower bracket finals, both best-of-three matches, will secure their spots at TI12.
