Gaimon: The Man Trapped in a Treasure Chest
Gaimon, a peculiar character in One Piece, didn’t make it to the Netflix adaptation. The Straw Hat Pirates encountered him on an island of rare animals, where they discovered him stuck inside a treasure chest. Gaimon’s unique appearance and quirky personality added an interesting dynamic to the anime.
Jango: The Hypnotist Subordinate
Jango, a hypnotist and subordinate of Captain Kuro, was notably absent from the live action adaptation. His ability to hypnotize people using a pendulum made him a distinctive character in the anime.
Johnny and Yosaku: The Bounty Hunters
Johnny and Yosaku, two relatively inexperienced bounty hunters, were introduced during the Baratie Arc. They joined the Straw Hat Pirates for a portion of their adventures but bid farewell to the crew during the events of the Arlong Park Arc. Their absence in the live action version was noticeable.
Hachi: The Octopus Fish-Man
Hachi, an octopus fish-man and former member of the Arlong Pirates, played a significant role in the Arlong Park Arc. Known for his numerous arms and impressive sword skills, Hachi started as an antagonist but gradually became a more sympathetic character. Unfortunately, he didn’t appear in the Netflix adaptation.
