After finalizing the Tekken 8 roster, Bandai Namco has released an exciting gameplay trailer featuring the seasoned fighter, Leo Kliesen.

Leo, a German fighter who debuted in Tekken 6 in 2007, utilizes the powerful Baji Quan fighting style. Known for its explosive close-combat moves, Leo’s rapid elbow and shoulder strikes bring a fresh dynamic to the Tekken 8 lineup.

The newly revealed footage showcases Leo as an agile and aggressive fighter. With lightning-fast uppercuts and devastating elbow strikes, Leo applies relentless pressure on opponents, seamlessly transitioning into powerful combos with impressive juggle potential.

One highlight of Leo’s moveset is the punch-kick combo that smoothly transitions into the Jin Ji Du Li stance (KNK). Taking advantage of Tekken 8’s innovative Heat System, Leo can chain together sequences of devastating attacks. Notably, the Rising Bei Zhe Kao (WS+4, 1+2) has been elevated to a Heat Engager, opening up a range of mix-up possibilities.

The gameplay trailer reaches its climax with Leo’s cinematic Rage Art maneuver. After launching the opponent backward, Leo unveils a grappling gun, gracefully swinging across the stage before delivering a bone-crushing shoulder strike that sends the opponent soaring through the air.

Tekken 8 is scheduled for release on January 26, 2024, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay tuned for more updates on ONE Esports’ Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok pages.
