What is The International 2023 main event?
The International 2023 is the 12th edition of Dota 2’s ultimate tournament, held in Seattle from October 12 to 29. It is the culmination of the competitive season, where teams compete for the prestigious Aegis of Champions and a multimillion-dollar prize pool.
Teams competing in TI12 main event
Sixteen teams are vying for glory in the TI12 main event. After the group stage, beastcoast, Thunder Awaken, PSG Quest, and Team SMG were eliminated. The remaining teams include top contenders like Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses, LGD Gaming, and Virtus Pro.
TI12 main event format
The TI12 main event follows a similar schedule to the previous iteration in Singapore. The playoffs take place from October 20 to 22, followed by the finals on October 27 to 29. All 16 teams will have at least one best-of-three series in the playoffs, with no more lower-bracket best-of-ones.
